Never really been a massive fan except for the Chameleon, but the first V10 is just awesome - dream garage would be one of these and an original Nucleon with the Rohloff...
Have you got access to CONSULT3 or whatever the Nissan diagnostic tool is? I think you might need that to clear the MIL and DPF lights no matter what... not sure that they'll reset themselves.
If the MIL is on, that must be turned off before it'll do a regen itself, no matter what else you do...
We paid $300-600 depending on where we got it done on a t31 Xtrail (yeah, more than once), and also whether they forced a regen or removed it to physically clean it.
I'd say do the regen/clean, the mechanic should be able to check the airflow before and afterwards and estimate the condition the...
Nice job! I did Brissie to the Bay a few years ago and Brisbane to Gold Coast is next on the list but I haven't been able to manage motivation/training to be able to do it. Hopefully next year...
I actually rode the bloody things! Took 2 weeks off around my bday with a view to riding as much as possible the first week. That didn't really happen how I planned it cause I'm so bloody unfit but I've ridden 20km over 3 days which I'm pretty happy with, considering I've not been offroad in 6...
I had one a couple of months ago and used a freeze spray on the little bastard - think the freeze burn took longer to heal than the tick bite... bloody awkward thing to use, too

The white one ('02 maybe?) was a dream bike when it came out... a friend had one and I was kicking myself I couldn't afford to buy it off him when he moved it on.
Footrot Flats: a Dog's Tail needs a look in (albeit as an honorary Aussie movie) - should be required viewing I reckon... also Two Hands if they're a bit older, and the Stiff mobies with David Wenham
We looked at a cx7 but they're really compromised with capacity to weight - can't believe how much smaller the cx5 is with a bigger boot...
Undecided about vitaras- in laws had one and seemed ok but we want to find out why they got rid of it
We actually bought an 11 Tiguan on the weekend but the...
