Bearings seem fine, I did pack them with grease before fitting. I always just build the wheels in the bike, I haven't looked at stands. What's the benefit of a stand? That seat is great by the way. Not sure how many muddy ass rides it will last but it's comfy and light and looks pretty good.

There is no clamp issue, they use a taper to pull tight instead of a hinged clamp. It seems odd at first but works fine.

I've had some for about 3 years. They are totally comfortable, no issues riding for hours in them. They can and do move during a stack, from memory they have given me a sort of carpet burn before. For the most part they protect ok for how comfortable they are.
