    bike stores that dont value their customers. Wife went in to try and order some new bike shoes. Tries on a lower model, they will order in the better model she wants. A week later she calls, oh we haven't ordered it yet, we wait for a certain size to order from the very brand we mostly stock...

    a 4 year election cycle isnt that long compared to the time needed to commission a significant factory. Some assembly just to sneak past the tariffs may go on but you aren't going to see big companies change that fast. more likely they'll move final assembly to a third country

    F@ing numpties. get sent a file to upload and process from a another site. normal sort of stuff, validate and fix the data, send it across systems etc. as soon as I finish they send another one for the same thing. 10pm another one, 4am one more.     repairing aluminium = little pop up gazebo things had one of the legs bend a little so its got a split in half of one of the square uprights. Could that be welded? not so much the cost that annoys me, new one is only about $100, as the waste of chucking it all away for that little split, but...
