    Eccentric BBs

Bushnell EBB I've been using the Bushnell EBB in a couple Cannondale Hooligan builds driving Alfine & Rohloff IGH. Not a squeak, not a problem. Forget they are even there. Adjustment is easy as. To be frank, I never had a problem with the Cannondale OEM EBB, though lots of people report...

    Bargain buys thread

I've had no issue with Bike24. Slower than CRC but still faster than BikeInn. What surprised me was that my order (headsets, drive train parts) arrived in a bike box! How the heck they manage to ship that volume for EUR20 escapes me. They must do mega volume.

    Sweaty head, sweat on glasses

I use a Halo. I started using them at work underneath my hard hat. I tried various sweat bands but found they made my head hotter resulting in more sweat - which type of defeated the purpose. I wear a Bell Sweep R.

Who makes this 4WD bike rack?

I have a Gripsport rack. I went with Gripsport as my previous car did not have a hitch mount - only a towball tongue. (I note ISI now do a towball mount) I had various Thule racks before. I found the towball mounted Thule racks to be a bit "bouncy". I was not comfortable using them at...

What's the hype about Chris King???

I've had Chris King headsets on two of my long time rides. I cannot say they are better than a Cane Creek or any other brand. No problems with them in >10 years/20,000km riding. I guess that's an endorsement of sorts... I wouldn't be spending extra for CK in future builds. Never looked at...

    20" (406) PV Tubes

I run a couple bikes on 20" (406) wheels - Bike Friday (2), Dahon (2), Cannondale Hooligan (3). I recently went to fit some "balloon" tyres 50-406 Vredestein F-Lite and was looking for some suitable tubes with Presta valves. Fitted and inflated a couple and got some odd results... Took...

dropper post stuck in carbon frame- help!

I second this. You need to break the galvanic bond. A twist (rotation) will have a better chance than trying to shock it length wise. I had a similar problem with an alu seat post in an Alan road frame... Have a read of the Park Tools notes...

    Wrist gaurds/supports.

I've been using Burton snowboard wrist guards. It's ghetto (cheap) and the hard bracing interferes with your grip as it extends into your palm. I reckon it needs to if you really want to protect the wrist. No issues snow boarding but may be a deal breaker for riding. If you do have an off...
