I run a 1 x 10 setup so I might give the 105 chain a go. Who knows, it might be ok, or next week I might be posting in the "Confessions from the fuck wits" thread.
I have just heard that since the introduction of Shimano 10 speed that Shimano have developed their 10 & 11 speed products so that you must run a road chain with a road cassette or a MTB chain with a MTB cassette and you shouldn’t mismatch.
I run 1 x 10 on my MTB and have a 105 (road chain)...
When you are watching a tv show in a foreign language with sub-titles and you press the volume button, should the sound go up or should the sub-title font get bigger?
Thanks guys. I've never considered contacts, and I do like the look of the fresnel lens so I might give that a go. The Garmin 500 is not a touch screen, it has buttons on the side so that won't be a problem for me.
I have a problem reading some of the data on my Garmin 500 as I don’t wear glasses when I ride but I do need them to read. I know that I can reduce the number of fields on the screen which will in turn increase the font size but I don’t really want to do that. This also wouldn’t help when using...
I wonder if that dude with the giant testies shaves his nuts? He would go through a few razors and could probably start a wig making business for people who like their hair curly.
Hi bowtaj, the 500 allows you to dump a map that someone else has created and made public. Also, the Garmin site comes with google/bing maps where you can zoom in and plot your own map. You then download it to your unit and you're off, the 500 will let you know when you go off course. I am...
I am not sure about the 510, but I do have a 500 and you can create and download courses using the Garmin website. You can then view the map on the device and if activated when you ride it will beep when you head off course.
What are the laws/rules regarding horses taking a dump in public areas? If you let your dog out of your yard and he has a cramp you are expected to pick it up.
A few people have asked me what the new post is like so I thought I would stick this up for anyone that is interested. It may not tell you anything you don’t already know but then again it may.
I am going to pre-empt this by saying, I am not an overly technical type of guy. If I like the way...
Dicknballs is an informal vote and would be in the LTIL section.
I am talking about someone that completes the ballot paper from top to bottom (or bottom to top) starting with number “1″ and numbering every square in sequential order without any thought for who they are voting for.
Why is it that so many people who are disillusioned with politics decide that the best way to show this is by casting a donkey vote? Don’t these people realise that a donkey vote is a vote. If you don’t want to vote for any of them, go to the polling both, get your name crossed off the role...
I decided not to run the cable along the top tube so I just ran it direct from the handlebar to the post. I gets in the way a bit but it moves out of the way as the seat drops so all is good.
New Grips – ODI Rouge, new saddle – Selle Italia Turbomatic and installed my new Thomson Dropper. I will post some more info on the post once I have a few more rides under my belt, but so far it has lived up to its reputation.
Hey Urban, I have no idea who you are but when I read your post yesterday I was devastated for you. To be forced to stop doing what you love must be such a hard thing to deal with. I hope that you can soon find something that will give you the same or an even bigger buzz as what riding has been...
Not letting gay couples enter into a legally binding relationship is like saying that you shouldn’t use 29inch wheels in a DH race. Most people will never try it, some will and will like it, so why not let them do their thing the way they like to do it.
