Coffs is a fkn wierd conservative white retiree shit hole. No amount of rad hills, elevation and local Mtber enthusiasm is going to overcome that. Might change once the bypass is open, but given how utterly useless local government in the region is I wouldn’t hold your breath.
Yeah that’s right. 216x63mm shock in a 210x55mm metric ibis Ripmo AF frame. I ran two offset bushings that got the 216mm eye to eye down to 212mm to not impact geometry too much. Resulted in an overall increase in shock stroke by 8mm and wheel travel increase from 146mm to 160ish mm.
Bloke didn’t even turn up to the podium after his no show in the start gate. Proper cheese eating surrender monkey stuff from Bruni IMO. Pretty weak sauce.
Yes. 230x60 and 230x65 are the same shock with a travel reducer in the 60mm stroke version. Your 200x51 shock was likely a pre metric shock (imperial?) that had no avenue to add/reduce stroke.
Yeah for sure. I’m 85kg and been racing some of the state enduro races with them. I made sure I ordered the 120kg weight versions in either the 34 or 36mm widths (can’t remember)
I looked into this a couple of years ago when I made the same purchase mistake. The cost of the specific RS tools and new shaft wasn’t worth it. Ended up selling it on marketplace for what I paid and made sure i was specific about the bikes that the fkn bearing eyelet fits
Been running the grid casing on the rear and the even lighter control cased guy on the front https://www.specialized.com/au/en/fast-trak-control-2bliss-ready-t7/p/205391?color=330690-205391&searchText=00122-4005
I've always liked the specialized fast trak. Cheap as chips too https://www.specialized.com/au/en/fast-trak-grid-2bliss-ready-t7/p/203415?color=331457-203415
