Video has gained enough support to make it through to the finals, thanks to those here supporting! If you haven't seen it yet, feel free to watch it through. If you think it deserves a shot at winning maybe even like it or leave a comment!
(It does require a vimeo account but I think it can...
It is definitely worth sharing and promoting if you are able, that would be awesome. It is based on views to get to the finals, I've had some people share it around on Facebook for me, seems to be a good way of spreading it. If people can like it on Vimeo and leave a comment too that also would...
Just so people know, if the video doesn't make finals, I think it will go private around the 22nd of this month. If it does make finals it will be remain online though!
(Just incase people wonder why a bogus link could appear after the 22nd)
Hah thanks, I was taking it pretty easy as the first 80% of the video was done 6 weeks after a spinal injury (C7,T4,T5). Was still in a neck brace but wanted to get some footage to submit!
Yeah I'm with you on that. I've got an original GoPro Hero and they are great and all. But I only find it useful now for checking out a trail I haven't ridden, then a body cam video is good. Apart from that, proper camera videos do a much better job. Thanks for watching :)
Just be careful on that long gap into the berm on the top section! I broke my C7 and crushed my T4 and T5 vertebrate out there 8 weeks ago. Some of the footage from that day is from the section at the end. Fun track though :)
For those wondering why the first video link isn't working any more, the video is now private due to competition round ending. The final round is now open and my second submission is below:

Thanks! I would have liked some more time to work on it and redo a few of the shots that had terrible lighting. I personally think narration is a little lame, maybe I just don't like the sound of my voice hah
Hey lads, here is my submission for the AMB x Shimano Video Competition.
We spend way too much time living out our busy lives indoors and on screens. The real world is outside, go out there. Live. Dream. Ride.
Thanks for watching, like on Vimeo and share if you're inclined. Then go ride...
Thanks, it is a fun trail!
That's bizarre that you saw it there! Maybe someone shared it there, generally 'spamming' in trading areas doesn't go down too well hah.
Chest mount is the best GoPro angle... Definitely worth looking into a Z1 rider gimbal, takes out all of the bumps and is ridiculously fluid. Check them out online
Yeah we had other cameras in the car with tripods and sliders. Though it was drizzly so we just took one camera. I think it took about 15km to do one run down after all of the sectioning!
