Yep, thats why I suggested dirt biking. Mountain bike trails aren't generally made for Ebikes. That means, that Ebikers will find most of the climbs on most MTB trails boring so then they create their own. The way climb trails are built, the switchbacks or corners that make a trail climb better...

I'm a fan of climb switches too. Just gone back to a coil (Fox DHX2) after many years and even though my bike has great antisquat kinematics, I still feel the benefit of using the switch on long draggy climbs. The switch isnt a lockout. Just firms the shock up a little

$229 for service on a post that's had very little use till now and is hardfor the user to service. Let's say it needs another service in a year......that's the price of the Oneup which is user serviceable. Really makes zero sense to pay that much on a service.

Not sure. I contacted Fox Factory Australia which seem to be the distributor for Fox, Raceface, Marzocchi and Easton. They have a service department which has a phone number and email. They seem to operate in a similar fashion to most others in the Australia bike industry......zero customer...

I've got no issues with grey imports considering that the service and support with non grey imports is so terrible in Australia anyway. Our bike industry is an absolute disgrace that I feel no need to support.
