    Mystic MTB - Bright

Not sure if you know how Hardline works but the riders don’t climb to the top. You do know that right?? Has mountain biking been dumbed down? Nothing screams ‘mountain biking has been dumbed down’ like a person getting insults on a MTB forum by a ebiker because they like pushing their bike...

    Mystic MTB - Bright

Mystic has become just about shuttles and Ebikes. The one and only climb now is dull as bat shit and obviously only built to get e-bikes back up to the top. . Not what MTB was about. Trail building now catering to lazy Ebikes. 😞 If you want to ride a motorised bike, buy a motorbike and ride...

To E bike it or not to E bike it, that is the question

Is that the mantra you keep repeating to yourself to feel validated ever since giving up on life and buying an ebike? ;)

To E bike it or not to E bike it, that is the question

If thats the way your brain works then what can I say....? I shouldnt be surprised really, you sound exactly like the under 55yo guy on a high powered ebike that would straightline a green trail! All hail @Dozer...... such an wise, insightful and productive commenter on Rotorburn!

To E bike it or not to E bike it, that is the question

Yep, thats why I suggested dirt biking. Mountain bike trails aren't generally made for Ebikes. That means, that Ebikers will find most of the climbs on most MTB trails boring so then they create their own. The way climb trails are built, the switchbacks or corners that make a trail climb better...

To E bike it or not to E bike it, that is the question

Sure mate, seems like I've hit a nerve. Maybe youre feeling a little guilty about something? Please share your super taxing ebike loop. As a mountain biker, Id suggest he get a dirt bike if he wants something different. As a mountain biker primarily, who rides a little moto and has ridden an...

To E bike it or not to E bike it, that is the question

You've obviously never ridden a dirt bike.....properly......in the bush.......up and down hills. I've been a mountain biker for the last 30+ years. Two years ago, decided to buy a dirt bike for something different. I too thought that dirt biking was easy until I went on a few rides. Honestly, I...

To E bike it or not to E bike it, that is the question

Why do you need an Ebike? Are you elderly or have an injury that means you cant ride a normal bike on the trails? If not, then an Ebike caters purely to the lazy. I have a push bike (MTB) and a dirt bike 400cc. Both require strength to ride and are a physical workout. Having ridden an Ebike...

    Coil shocks with climb switch

I'm a fan of climb switches too. Just gone back to a coil (Fox DHX2) after many years and even though my bike has great antisquat kinematics, I still feel the benefit of using the switch on long draggy climbs. The switch isnt a lockout. Just firms the shock up a little

    2019 Fox Transfer woes

Ooooo, this actually shows a DIY version of the air fill tool which is all I really need. Thanks!

    2019 Fox Transfer woes

I'd happily do that service and that exact video is the reason I was trying to contact Fox in the first place. I can do the service but need the air fill adaptor. Fox did a few different air fill adaptors but on their website there is the listing for one but no photos so I was wanting to know...

    2019 Fox Transfer woes

$229 for service on a post that's had very little use till now and is hardfor the user to service. Let's say it needs another service in a year......that's the price of the Oneup which is user serviceable. Really makes zero sense to pay that much on a service.

    2019 Fox Transfer woes

Not sure. I contacted Fox Factory Australia which seem to be the distributor for Fox, Raceface, Marzocchi and Easton. They have a service department which has a phone number and email. They seem to operate in a similar fashion to most others in the Australia bike industry......zero customer...

    2019 Fox Transfer woes

Thanks Oddjob, Yeah, the Transfer is a great quality post in terms of materials. Thanks for the tips. I couldnt find anything online about tipping the bike upside down and lowering post but I did try that and when flipping the bike the right way up and extending it, the post did not sink at...

    2019 Fox Transfer woes

Hi all, My bike came with a Fox Transfer Factory Kashima dropper. It's a 2019 model bike but has had very little use. The post sinks about 1cm when I sit on it at full extension. If I drop the post and stay sitting on it then I need to help it come back up. Otherwise, the action is very light...

    Little Things You Hate

The relatively new trend (?) of drivers speeding up to close the gap when you have your Indicator on to merge lanes. Sums up the modern entitled selfish Aussie attitude. It's got the point where being 'Un-Australian' (a term I've always hated) is a compliment.

    The Brig

I've got no issues with grey imports considering that the service and support with non grey imports is so terrible in Australia anyway. Our bike industry is an absolute disgrace that I feel no need to support.
