maybe not as hard but deffinately as fast, maybe they do look a bit camp, but they are amazing to ride, and the efficiency shits all over anything I have ever ridden.

I did about 10km on one yesterday, every time i ide them i feel stupid for spending money on my ''bike'' bike. The guy that is selling me one also has a 1898 tandem bike with rear steering and two fixed axels, alot of fun.

g'day all I had a ride on a recumbent bike yesterday (much like this one, http://www.icehouse.net/jim_d/gifs/slipstream.jpg) , and am totally hooked, they are way more efficiant, faster, and comfortable that any conventional bike i have ever ridden. yes they look rediculous but god I love...

Really great photography, but rainrut belongs to the hardtail. And i notice there is no evidence of you guys riding the rock garden, but then again probably best as you wouldnt want to use any of that rear suspension. Other than that nice riding just watch out for snakes on the north shore landing.
