Im aware spacers wont work but they will change the head angle, if the front of the frame goes higher and the back stays the same the headtube will slacken, it would be the same as having taller forks but yeah unsafe.

That frame is 700c not 27", because I put my new ultegra brakes on it and they fit my 700c wheels perfect. But another reason to have a 700c fork with a 700c wheel is that if you want to run a front brake you can I guess. Also would the geo even change? Wouldnt the bike just be slightly higher...

Sram are bringing out a new hub that is fixed and freewheel but single sided. It has a locking mechanism inside it so you just flick a switch to go from fixed to free. It's a pretty good idea, better than a flip flop hub in the sense that you dont need to remove the wheel. Only downside is that...

Well ultegra calipers seem to be the best calipers I can get my hands on for under 150, and I was looking at a bar and stem combo that already had record levers. I'm using downtube shifters so that wont be a problem

You can run both but the rear brake really isnt that effective, still cant hurt to have it there though. I would think the main reason justin runs one is because his hub is flip flop
