    Shoulder position when riding

Maybe this should go in the Stupid Questions thread?...? When riding, be it sitting and plodding or slamming down a fast technical section, do you guys keep your shoulders "packed" or allow them to round forwards? Or in other words do you keep your shoulder blades back and down or do they pull...

Push DH mountain biking into the spotlight.

The UK Sports Action Woman of the Year is due to close its doors on voting in 4 days and Rachael Atherton is in the top 10. This could be a great opportunity to get some easy coverage and profile raising for our sport. I know its the other side of the planet but these things can have a...

SWAP - your 160/170/180mm coil for my 2011 Rockshox Lyrik Solo Air, Taper Steerer

I have a 2011 Rockshox Solo Air Lyrik RC - 170mm. It was still in the box until my bike was fully assembled early this year. It has less than 20kms on it and is in shop floor condition. I'm looking to swap for a 160mm-180mm coil with at least a 210mm tapered steerer and 20mm axle.

Truvativ Carbon Noir cranks for AM.

I'm picking a up set of Carbon Noirs tomorrow as a warranty uplift on the previous Stylos that I had. I currently run Shimano Zees as I couldn't wait several weeks for the warranty to get sorted out. The Zees are 170mm whilst the TCNs will be 175mm. And I am feeling the difference on the...

    Elbow pads for big arms

Now that my Dainese elbow pads are dead I'm looking for some replacements. My arms are a little larger than average so I'm having trouble finding a good set that fit. I don't want the Dainese again as the crashes they went through didn't really impress me. I've tried on the POCs and 661s...

    2010 Boxxers - 40mm travel!!

After 3 runs at Ourimbah yesterday, my Boxxer Teams stopped compressing anything more than about 40mms. When I push down, they feel as they they are stopping against something (rather than a gradual pressure build up). My friend (novice rider) was using the bike at the time and didn't hit...
