using logs Hi guys I often see on videos the use of logs as the base of building kickers, jumps, etc. Where dirt is often overlayed. How long can a jump built like this last? Doesnt the wood rot especially in damp forest conditions? Keen to hear others experiences on this.

Having the lungs of a small child, I decided to stonefly separately and the next day the epic excl stonefly taking circuit road. Was still a lung busting exercise but was more refrehed for the descent which was the best I've ever ridden.

Thanks for the info Travis. Yeah for me personally, I dont see the point of adding the Stonefly climb only to be rewarded with a fireroad descent, followed by another 12km of climbing. Think Ill just take the Circuit Rd to TBJ and go from there.

How long was the climb after tbj? I understand it is fireroad but not very steep, just long and boring which I am fine with given the descent is all I care for.

Being someone who prefers downhill than uphill, my only goal is to get to that sweet decent in the fastest and easiest way. So in saying that, could I just skip stonefly altogether and take the circuit rd up to TBJ?
