    RS Reverb hose crash damage

Looks like you guys have it covered... I did the same last year. Just check the end of the hose to see if there in anything jammed in there. I thought I could just reattach the hose when I realised the hose barb was actually quite small, sharp and was snapped clean off in the end of the hose !!!!

    Specialized riders - sizing question

182 and I ride a medium enduro... It does feel short in the top tube. But I enjoy that feeling. using your comparison to the stumpy is a tough ask. From memory the enduro has a shorter top tube than the Stumpy for each comparable frame size. Personally, try another specialized dealer to...

    Are online forums dead?

I think a lot of forums are dieing. RB has quite a large population for an Australian forum (to its credit). But I do agree with the OP and duck on this topic. People are abandoning conversation for convenience. There seems to be a shift from wanting to "research a topic" to "satisfying an...

where EXACTLY to lube chain (leaving off debate on chain cleaning for now)

I think Jared is far too old and stubborn to be single. For the record I have a wife and 3 kids. LOL This is an old setup from a friend that predates even my moto days. But I am determined to keep using it... My chains last longer and my cassette stays cleaner.

where EXACTLY to lube chain (leaving off debate on chain cleaning for now)

This is a specialised paraffin wax and grease formula that is very hard to get nowadays. It sets to a grease like state at room temperature. At around 65degrees it becomes liquid. At about 80-90 degrees it begins to "boil". It only takes about 2-3 minutes and then hang to drip off the excess...

Shock upgrade advice please: CaneCreekDBair, MonarchPlus or CCDBinline for NorcoRange

So your regularly pedalling your downhill bike up hills and on flow trails.... Read my posts. The CCDB is fine in your application. Which is why I haven't made the call to sell mine yet. Moorey makes a good point about getting the shock tuned... I would have the low speed rebound needle...

    SRAM XO trail brakes dragging.

The rear is the problem child. But even the front could be classed as noisey but it free spins ok. Good point about the bleeding. I usually leave the old pads in or use the blocks supplied in the avid kit.
