Hey are the Nixon elites any good for a heavy guy? Have heard mixed reviews about them on MTBR.com. Is it possible to upgrade the internals to make them more like the Platinums? I did a search on here and found an old for sale post that seemed to suggest that it was. Anyone know about this?

Has any one ridden, owned one of these? Just wanted to know what you think of the frame, in particular how tough they are. I'd like to get one but am worried that at 100kg it might not stand up to anything more than very light trail riding.
