Do the European prices have their VAT added? If so, surely that will help keep the prices similar

Light Bicycle Carbon Rims/Wheels (Review Included on 1st Post))

I cracked my rear 35mm Light Bicycle rim on Cressy also. I took some strategically angled pictures and sent them off with a very kiss arse email (tyres pumped up, elderly rider blah blah). Warrenty approved! Will cost you about $40 postage. I've now gone back to alloy (Easton Arc 30), the're...

Two cracks on the edge of the rim, a bit of delamination as well. I'd hope the warranty comes through due to the rims being only 5 months old and they were built by LB. I also requested a strong rim. We'll see how I go, easier to sell two rims. Cheers

Light Bicycle Carbon Rims/Wheels (Review Included on 1st Post))

Hi Well, just found a crack in my LB 35mm 29er rear wheel. Not happy Jan! Only 5 months old and riden by a cowardly 42 year old, all be it an unskilled cowardly 42year old. I'll be pushing very hard for a warranty replacement but will most probably sell up and move back to alloy. Anyone got...

    Bell super 2R

Thanks for the reply. I've got a Bell coming from Pushys, mad price BTW. If it's a bad fit I'll send it back and try the Met. More concerned that it'll fit great, I'll rock up to Buller and be sent on my way. Thanks again. Chris

    Bell super 2R

Hi So I've just signed up for my first race, the gravity enduro at Buller next month, and noticed that it's a full face helmet event. Looked around and narrowed it down between a Met Parachute and Bell 2R with a slight favor towards the Bell. My only concern is the Bell isn't approved for...

    Mt Buller

Woot! Kudos to Steve. Four runs for me today. Gang gangs/Dalatite first and just did a Klingsporn without a crash, sweet! Thanks again Steve.

    Mt Buller

Heading up to Buller tomorrow with plans to do four runs down to Mirimbah. Unfortunately I missed out on the first shuttle up at 9.00am (I like to leave the car down the bottom so I can end the day on a high) due to it being booked out. So I was just wondering if there was anyone heading up...

A brief history of my time.

http://imgur.com/yLBZ7t7 Hit up Buller today. Started the day with a run down Gang gangs then onto Dalatite. Bike felt pretty good although I think I've got a bit of work to do sorting out this suspension, especially the Pikes. I also missed the big ring of the 2 x XX cranks, with the 32 tooth...

Thanks Mate. Hitting Buller on Saturday, if it rides half as good as it looks, I'll be stoked.

A brief history of my time.

As promised in my newbie thread, here is the pictorial of the last 12 months of bike ownership. We'll start with my first serious (for me) mountain bike, the Polygon AX3. Such a sweet bike and very hard to let go. http://i.imgur.com/sLm9Gmj.jpg After the Stonefly episode, a 29er, not a...

12 month lurker, first time poster!

Wow,tough crowd! Thanks for the tip. I honestly wouldn't have applied for trading access on the above dribble, it was just an attempt at some friendly banter. In future, "most" of my posts will be of a constructive nature, not much tech as I'm still a bit green, but trip reports, video and...

12 month lurker, first time poster!

Hello from Melbourne. I'm 42 years young and thoroughly enjoying my biking comeback. The comeback started last year when I bought a bike of this very forum, a Polygon AX3 (cheers Bighair). Absolutely awesome bike, took it everywhere. Then I rode Stonefly. Wow, near death experience. Was it me...
