    XC Kona Kula

Yeah I was surprised how light it is. And with those short chainstays, it feels like it just wants to wheelie everywhere! My main ride is a steel framed Honzo. Brilliant bike... but light it aint. Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk

    What the buck?

I've got the bunny hop going ok off smoother transitions but my local trails have a few tricky little doubles that are a bastard to negotiate at speed. I'm hitting them up tomorrow so will slow down a bit and see if I can throw a decent shape off the kickers. Thanks for the suggestions.

    What the buck?

Hey all. On jumps with tight kickers or a rock/log/lip at the top of the launch I'm getting bucked forwards and copping a seat in the backside or landing in unintentional nose manuals. Any idea what I might be doing wrong? On a steel hardtail so no rear squish adjustments to contend with. Seems...

    VIC FOUND

Yeah exactly. Got a 24t atm no need to go up to 32. Smaller ring means smaller bash guard means more ground clearance. Although I am starting to feel a bit like a nit picky wanker now for a bike thats just for smashing the local skateparkso_O

    VIC FOUND

True but I'd have to go 32t min? Better to keep size down for trials stuff ground clearance I think.

No front mech. It's an old Norco Moment has bash guard on outer holes & 24t ring on inner holes. I could swap the whole bb & crankset to something more modern but bb is fine and I didn't pay much for the bike so trying to keep it simple. Edit: Also I don't have a Truvativ bb tool ;)

    Confessions from the fuckwits

I actually cosidered that as a setup on a street trials rig I could also commute on. If I had the necessary bits lying around I'd probably have done it. Few folks on the interwebz running it. "Tringle speed" they call it haha.

    Confessions from the fuckwits

Running 1x9 on street bike. Needed new shifter. Nothing fancy required so hurriedly ordered cheapest alivio one... the bloody front one! The slogan "triple trigger" is now embedded in my psyche. Triple triggered!

    Shimano freehub POE upgrade

So I picked up an old Norco Moment street trials rig the other day. Just getting it tidied up and rideworthy but the stock Shimano 9 speed freehub (FHM756 hub) has a fairly paltry 18 points of engagement which is a bit crap for trials. Is there a compatible replacement freehub available with...
