Going from 80mm forks to 120mm forks will change geometry. This could be a good thing, or it could make the bike too slack, its hard to know without more data. But like jellylegs said, it can put more stress on the headset. Chain reaction doesn't have any 29er 120mm rockshox forks anyway...
