    Red Bull Hardline Maydena

A couple of staff involved in the build are actually Hardline invitees, so are far from mere mortals. We’ve got very comprehensive safety systems in place for testing, which is a process of speed testing, tuning, and checking dimensions long before anyone actually hits a feature.

    Red Bull Hardline Maydena

All the lower jumps are out in the open- the sight lines are great. Access to the rest of the course will be generally really easy using existing trails.

    Red Bull Hardline Maydena

Nothing to do with Hardline (maybe), we just like big jumps.

    Red Bull Hardline Maydena

Hey folks, there will be a bunch of news released early Wednesday morning (1am) about a new week-long gravity MTB festival at MBP. If you’re so inclined we’d suggest keeping Feb 20-25 2024 clear in your calendars.

2024 World Cup Downhill / EDR

All going to plan Maydena will be back on the calendar in 2025. We’ve got something else in the pipeline for 2024- more on that very soon…

    Maydena pricing

Our plan is definitely to run separate Midline buses during peak times. It’s something we’ll be working on this season as we finish off and improve the link trails into the main trail network from the Midline drop off.

    Maydena pricing

Hey everyone, We appreciate all the feedback. We get no joy putting our prices up, and hate to add to the growing list of things that cost more. Unfortunately though, our operating costs have sky rocketed in recent years (unsurprising to most people!). On top of this, we want to be able to...

    Maydena Bike Park

Sorry, but we haven’t been open in July for a few years now. None of our recent operational changes have had any impact on this season. The park is completely shut through the winter period- all trails are closed (closed June 25- September 30). Hopefully you can make it back some other time.

Spectator access to Maydena EWS (Edited title as information clarified)

It’s a good point and something we wanted to do. We are a really small team though, and we simply ran out of time with everything we needed to do to put this event together.

Spectator access to Maydena EWS (Edited title as information clarified)

We lease our shuttle road access from 3 parties and a condition of our leases and approvals means we can’t allow riding on the road. To be honest we would never allow it anyway for safety reasons. If you check out our 5 year plan, we have actually included a climb to the summit in our works...

No aggression there whatsoever! Have a great night.

Spectator access to Maydena EWS (Edited title as information clarified)

We built our current climb on a gentle gradient deliberately to cater for all abilities. This means it has to have switchbacks to fit into our property boundaries. We’ve got a new, more direct climb being built as we speak on a new piece of land. There is only so much we can do as a small...

Spectator access to Maydena EWS (Edited title as information clarified)

We don’t have a climbing trail to our summit- we provide climbing access to over 400m of vertical elevation, for free. We are a private park, who pays for all trail planning, construction and management ourselves. We also provide a professional bike patrol (free if you’re climbing). We are...

Spectator access to Maydena EWS (Edited title as information clarified)

We actually advertised a spectator trail map on our socials, placed it on our web site, and had QR codes up around the venue. We also had staff across the course managing the crowd, even though it wasn’t our responsibility. This is more than anyone has ever done at an EWS according to pro riders...

Spectator access to Maydena EWS (Edited title as information clarified)

Hey guys, This is absolutely incorrect. Spectating is free! You can walk up anywhere on the hill (using specific trails for access) at zero cost. Our trail riding pass is also free if you wish to ride around the venue to spectate yourself. The ‘walking’ reference to the $50 spectator pass means...

    Maydena Bike Park

Hey there, Our park elected to close far earlier than we needed to, in the interest of keeping our riders and the community safe- and unlike many operators, we offered full refunds. This was a very expensive decision for us, but safety is always more important than money. We plan to work hard...

New Bike Park for Sydney - Glenworth Valley

We are doing just fine! Thanks for your concern though, guys (if we are honest it’s a little cold down here, but we’ll live). We did get affected by pesky bush fires this year, which wiped out our busiest month of the year, but we still hosted over 25k uplift days and many, many other happy...
