05/06 fox 36, possible to increase travel?

Hi guys, just wondering if it is possible to increase the travel of an old fox 36 float, probs from around 05ish era.
Hoping maybe an extra 20mm of travel is possible without a lot of money, cheers for any good news

Tis just a 36 R, pretty basic model I think

Also if it's not possible, could you all name some single crown forks with a minimum of 180 travel, older types preferred and with straight steerer. 20mm axle

Would this help? I remember Simon at the MTB Suspension Centre mentioning that adding or removing spaces was all that was needed. The 07 Float 36 appears to have 160mm max travel though.

Damn it, seems like I am screwed. Shall have to hunt aut a longer travel fork whenst I become rich, 30 million tonight, 4 games purchased, definitely on a winner.

I do have a 1.5 steerer Totem that I could be persuaded to swap for a 36 Float, either that or i need to reduce the travel on the Totem

I think @Knuckles (haven't seen him on here for a long time) really slammed a set of totems a fee years ago and posted a pic of them on a dj bike. Pretty much everything looks good with them on!
