Lockdown project using spare parts.

Most parts were from my old XTC Advanced that had broken chainstays from an attempted theft. These were then put onto a frame from @Labcanary for my sister but after she lost interest I decided to build it back into something I could ride.

Good looker. Is that the original frame finish, or has it been stripped?

I used some poly paint stripper from Bunnings, after applying I wrapped with cling wrap and left for 30 mins before removing. Most of it came off after 2 coats and the rest only needed some small spot treatment took about 90 mins all up.

Then I got a good look at the corrosion, after sanding it didn't seem too bad.

Then sanded with 600 wet and dry followed by some autosol aluminium polish. This was around 3 nights in front of the TV.
