2009 Commencal Meta 5.5 1x12 conversion

Hi, im converting an old 3x9 meta to a Sram Eagle NX 1x12 I ordered the "boost" version which I think was a mistake? can I just change the chainring out to a non-boost chainring or will the whole crankset be wrong?

no just swap chainring, tbh you should b able to get away w running the boost ring

Thanks Daniel, I was thinking of trying an oval ring anyway does any 12 speed oval front ring work with Eagle?

That should be fine, I’ve run a non-boost chainring and pranks on a Boris bike. What cranks did you have? There is limited options in Boost chain rings that would fit old cranks I would think anyway.

Getting SRAM Eagle NX cranks and DUB bottom bracket, just looking for a directmount oval 32 tooth 6mm offset chainring to fix the offset issue.
