Has just signed up for another couple of years on Team GT, surprise-surprise!
They love the guy, and is fitter and stronger than ever after off season snow shovelling, Gym abuse, and Snow XC riding in the mountains of Colorado with his little family.
And expect a great display of raw downhill energy on the hills of Eagle Park in a few weeks time when he flies in to take back his Oz crown.
Yes, he`s coming home to play.

Also, through the comments it looks like Evil has changed where they get there bikes built so this could mean better quality control hopefully.

dont take this the wrongway people, cos i like Kovaric, one of the last of the old breed of balls out riders left, but his results over the last few years on the WC circuit havent really been where a big name team would want their flagship rider to be. plus he aint the youngest boy around anymore.

He is "apparently"( heard from a friend of a friend of his 3rd cousins dog walker) taking a year out and doing some clinics and coaching with claire and rennie at the new park in Qld and just having a bit of a break and a bit of fun riding to try and recharge the love for the sport etc etc etc.

Lets hope it works and he comes back full tilt on a good factory team next time round.

Oh and if you read this chris its not a sledge in any way and i would love to do a clinic with you if your doing them.

Chris is still going strong of late, been placing at some good events & just headed back OS for more I believe, although as with most Pro DH riders its not age or losing the skills thats the problem, its all the travelling & pre-race prep.
It totally does their heads in & after so long against there own will they start losing the drive they require to be perfect.

They are only human at the end of the day. Nathan rennie has had some good time off & I reckon he will be back in the hot seat once again very shortly, its in the blood for these guys & a season or 2 off can be the best thing for them...

I couldnt do it, but id love to give it a shot
