We're really excited about putting on the State XC Champs again at Avoca - we're also holding a trail running event on the Saturday. Free camping at the Mount Avoca winery on both Friday and Saturday night, so why not make a weekend of it?

Stunning place in Victoria to visit let alone take part in a MTB race and see some of the top guns.

super fun day - the overnight rain (and there was apparently lots of it!) made the track pristine with herodirt

not a technical course, but holy smokes it still hurt to race full gas for the entire race.

The burgers, oranges and bananas post race were AWESOME! arty:

Awesome racing over the weekend. While the weather was rubbish in Melbourne, Avoca offered a great track which had had lots of rain during the night.

I was wondering where the hell you would be riding in Avoca? - on the NSW Central Coast. Lovely spot but no riding there that I'm aware of. Good surf though.
