It's good to see Maes grab one after being the perennial bridesmaid.
He's certainly got plenty of speed and is super consistent.

Hill just keeps getting the job done too which is amazing!

I wonder how many riders stayed out of the existing holes as was Sam's plan and made a whole new set of holes to disappear into...

Some very solid and consistent results so far in his first big race there @rsclio! Around 40th in the first 3 stages. GO MATT!
Thanks mate
Picked up a place on Stage 4 then more on stage 5- passed about 4 or so then he reckons.
He passed the guy in front of him on every stage - twice on one after a bingle.
Crashes on stages 2 &3 but no damage.
Now hes been partying with Graves etc

I can't wait to see "the Privateer" when his efforts at Whistler get posted up. Really enjoying following his exploits!

Hurts. Requires Money. And is nerdy.
I wanna say ravenal because shes untouchable, on an aluminium bike, thats not trek. Killin it!

Not to take anything away from tracey. She’s a different breed aswel.

What if rachel atherton made the switch? That’d be exciting.

Nope, the athertons never moved on from their commencal sponsorship. Don’t know what your talking about. Deffinately no treks to be seen.

Stupid poser bikes (haha! Coming from a transition fanboi)

Interesting that Rik was not in Whistler but instead in MSA on RedBull TV DHWC duties and that it his relatively low key part in those proceedings took precedence over his leading role in the EWS coverage.

He does a damn good job of both imo and his absence in Whistler highlighted this.
