Yes and no. My original thought, but seems it’s a completely new track. They may know the terrain and idiosyncrasies of the dirt, but not the track.

I still backed them.

Interesting if it’ll be the same Frenchies at the top this round. Couple of them like Vergier and Coulanges have struggled in the wet this year - I wonder if the drier conditions will suit them better? Especially for Coulanges with his lanky limbs and the way he rides with the back end skating around anyway, I wonder if he might feel more comfortable in this kind of loose terrain?

But damn, Greenland is looking so at ease on the Santa Cruz, absolutely ripping but still getting steezy over the jumps - and Iles looks to be loving the new proto Spesh too.

EDIT: Forgot Saurez - he could be a dark horse this round too. Surely they must get plenty of dry and loose running in Spain!

So many riders on form right now, it’s awesome!

Is Troy protected? I’m thinking not and it looks like he might not have qualified for some reason o_O
