It seems like every year there's bikes stolen at/after Fort Bill, surprised they didn't have someone minding the van. It's a hell of a lot of dollars to lose.

I think there is probably shit getting stolen all the time in Pomgolia, so throw a bunch of race teams onto the mix and chances are someone will get hit.

So rough for Neko and his team.

Wonder if the thieves targeted them specifically due to the custom bikes or it was just dumb luck that they knocked off bikes they will struggle to sell?

Gilly! Pretty proud of this kid, he has had a natural talent on a bike from when he could walk and has spent his youth working towards this big result. He knows his place with Yeti is valuable and having their guys dominate both disciplines of the EDR is amazing. There'll hopefully be more of these wins coming. ;)

Has everyone amended their Pinkbike DH team for Poland?
Thanks for the reminder, now which of the mens can I sacrifice for one good run.

With Sam Hill put as a medical in the list, does anyone know if he will actually run this year? Without Nukeproof what bike will he run? There is a pic on his Instagram but looks more like an enduro fork.

There's a bit of secrecy around this race, not really much info except a few section snippets.

Also some disagreement of the actual destination, is it actually the Bielsko-Biała tracks or Szczyk... would be good to hear Rob Warner pronounce any of those names :p

The DH race will take place in neighbouring city of Szczyk, on mnt. Skrzyczne. Official course length is 2015m/403m vertical drop.

The Bielsko-Biała itself will host enduro race on mnt. Szyndzielnia. the course is not published yet.

You can expect a lot of loose rocks, the area is known for that.

As always there is criticism about the course, mainly from Poles, but I, myself, am stoked!

I'm a local (currently moved to Norway, but will be there for the racing) so AMA.

Word on the street is the Szcyjfgsjfkjsxslkjsdfsd track in Poland is built to blow out and develop over the race weekend. To me that just sounds like they built it last minute and that'll do. It does look like it'll be pretty high speed though so could be quite a good venue.

Track won't develop if everyone gets their bikes stolen....
Was in EDR but team Canyon had their van broken into and 4 bikes knocked off.... Jesse Melamed and Jack Menzies...
Feel less sorry for Canyon than I did for Neko though...

Hard to tell on the video, but looks like some offcamber bits in the woods and some token rock paths, I mean gardens squeezed in-between a 4 lame blow trail...

But I'm sure I would die trying to ride it, and it should still be entertaining I suppose. Especially if it does chew/rut up as the weekend goes on

I haven't seen the DH track but from MoiMoi's EWS track walk vid, looks like the natural terrain below any soil is just rock, lots and lots of rock.
If the DH track does break down as hoped, it could be a totally different track by finals.

Now that I've had some time to watch a proper track walk (say what you want about Bernard's attitude/love life etc, but his track walk is probably the best one for track info), it is definitely a track that I wouldn't probably make it past 3 corners (like I kind of thought) and isn't really 4 lame wide at all.

Looking forward to tomorrow 9pm
