2025 World Cup Downhill / EDR

Watched a bit of the women's race on Stan, must admit the camera placings and coverage was a bit shit, they'd show the start then 30 seconds of random clips. Would rather just watch a pov from a go pro. The hardline coverage was a million times better.

I thought the same, coverage was way more shit than last year, but then I realised the reason was because they couldn't launch the drones in that kind of weather. When the weather cleared during the men's race the drones were launched and coverage was improved... still not as good as what Red Bull gave us at Hardline.

Gotcha ; will give it another chance next round then (hopefully some good weather).

Yeah good to hear.

Ryan Gilchrist had a bit of an off(line) moment in the start hut too 🤡
A bit of chat in the comments on Pinkbike about that. Apparently nothing in the rules. Wonder if we see an update regarding front wheel breaking the beam in start hut.

Crankworx was boring as fuck this year. Had such a low energy bike industry in crisis vibe to it.

Shite local fete levels of stall, hardly anything interesting to see or enter to win prizes.

In the beginning there were loads of brands, Specialized, Trek, YT, Norco, Rocky Mountain and DT Swiss.

This year there's a sad Maxxis stand with a shit spin the wheel to win a cheap prize, mostly food stands. Kona was there which was nice to see.

This car park was mostly full a couple of years ago..

Quite a few aussies starting this week in Loudenvielle. Would love to see LMS do well. Sadly no women in the elite, hopefully Sian will race WC again next year.
