Yeah watched it earlier, scary stuff from the POV on the go pro. Lucky no broken bones. Poor bugger I was hoping to see him challenging for the overall this year after he's had such shit luck in the last 2 years. Hopefully he'll be good for Leogang.

But sensational for Booker - really deserves a team. He seems such a nice bloke to have a ride and a beer with.
 
Coverage much better this time. Loved the drone shots at the top of the course. Missed most of the men's, caught a bit of the women's, lucky enough saw Gracie's run and Jacksons run. Both absolutely killed it. Gracie's run was pretty amazing. And Jackson wow when he's on, he's on.

You really do appreciate how bloody fast they are riding ; I reckon it'd take me about 30 mins to get down it and that's probably walking a heap of the course 🤣
 
Amazing race! The coverage is superb, Carlson is ace as a commentator, the girls are motoring and that men's field was unreal.

I'm actually bothering to pick a good team and do some research for it. Seems like it's working out okay as I'm leading our league. So ner.
 
I agree with most of the points above. THE RACING was superb. Most of the camera operators did a great job , that drone shot was well executed and perfect for the situation. The director needs beating to a pulp. Carlson is doing a brilliant job although I can understand non Aussies might struggle with him. Neko , very valuable with his insight. Ric can fuck right off the pointless c%nt.
On that , I wouldn't have flinched if Neko walked out of the booth and never returned after they showed 1.5 seconds of Anna Newkirks run.

There's still a lot of room for improvement and the excuse that WB are "still finding their feet" is invalid.
 
I'm likely part of the minority here but I am very happy with the Stan deal and happy to pay for it. So many sport fans cry about sport not being on free to air but never flinch at paying a sum of cash to watch sport in person. I really don't get why it is such a big gripe.

Soccer though, you'd need to pay me to watch that stupid game.
