4g ultra slow to load

There's your problem. 4g works fine for me, I'm using telstra.
Try resetting your network settings so it refreshes the tower that it wants to search for. Your phone will love you for it.
Aside from that, try turning the 4G off so it relies on the solid 3g connection.
If that fails, it's time to look at the phone ads in all the shop fronts and realise that what they claim to do is total horse shit and is nothing like what happens. Example: I was at a tram station in Melbourne outside an Optus shop. The poster said full network capability on 4G; best in the country etc. I looked at my phone and it was one bar on 3G...........Optus actually got in the pooh over that advertising as it was misleading.

It's Not Easy Being Green
I'm having the exact same issues in 2 different states. Victoria & Queensland. Tapatalk also not working properly. I always use my mobile & it started a ffew days ago.
I'm with Vodafone and other sites and forums work fine on mobile. It's only here that seems to be the problem....

If you don't know what a traceroute is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traceroute
It will show you each hop your data travels through between you and the destination, you can see the time in milliseconds between each hop... look for large numbers, there's your problem.
Example (from a PC):
It actually appears there's dramas along the way from a PC as well - although loading the site works fine, and is fast. :/
AAPT and whatever comes after Broadband Solutions are the culprits here... potentially more hops through their system.

It has always been fine for me on Telstra.
Figured as much, since it's unlikely a ping would time out repeatedly while the site still functions as normal unless it was being blocked.
I'll open up the ping to help your traceroutes... Then if someone on optus/vodaphone could paste the output in here for me?

Then from the left hand top side of the screen click and drag to select the text area, then click on the same top left of the window, edit > copy. Just did two of them, the first was after I loaded a page without issues, the second was when it was slow to load a PM. Not slow like the issues I seem to have during the day though. BTW - I have no idea what the below actually means.... I used Traceroute for Android.
