888ATA full travel?

Is anyone running 08 888ATAs getting full travel, or does the PAR floating piston have to be removed/
I like the concept of the PAR chambers being separated to dial in the ride height, but does it work in practice?

My mate's got those forks, and as far as I know he gets the full travel out of them.

Sorry, my mistake, he's got the RCVs, not the ATAs. Ignore what I said there.

my friend removed the floating piston out of his because it was restricting his travel to about 6 inches and now they feel alot nicer to ride and get the full amount of travel.

Anyone know if this floating piston removal technique applies to the 66ATAs as well, I've got 08 ones which seem to only get 5 or so inches out of the total travel..I used to think that's the progressive nature of the air spring, but I've ridden them heaps and taken some larger drops than I used to and they just seem harsher as they get closer to 150-160mm of the 180mm travel (used a zip tie to see how far I could compress them)
