So this stage race is on again.

This year our own Cadel Evans is participating with another road legend George Hincapie as his team mate.

Cadel's BMC Fourstroke features a full Shimano XTR Di2 drivetrain with a XTR brakeset. He is using the same grips as I do!!....:whistle:

ESI grips.. have found they do a extra thick now, so good.

Cadel and Hincapie are lying in 3rd in Masters and 27th overall. Pretty quality field!

Around 180 teams already out of the race - first few days were apparently BRUTAL with very hot conditions.

There was some footage on you tube of a sandy climb on yesterdays(?) stage.. The pro's were certainly hurting. I would be walking...
