yum cha is hong kong style dinner of lots of dumplings. they walk around the restuarant with a big trolley of steaming hot and fried dumplings

Yum cha is actually "Tea Lunch", to drink tea. Dim sum is the food you eat. Sorry to be pedantic :D
 
what schmook said .. you go there and they walk around with trolleys with lots of little dishes on plates which cost different amounts ..
at the end you add up the cost of all your plates..

kinda like the sushi train but no train :(
