Been watching this (and the other thread) with interest. So much so I contacted Geometron and have been very impressed thus far with their ability to respond quickly and provide advice. I’m actually looking at the G15 on advice from Paul based on the kind of riding I do. So basically... before I pull the trigger is everyone still happy with their Geometron/Nicolai? Not too much bike? I was looking at the new Yeti SB130 or Ibis Ripmo, but ther is something about a handmade frame and the raw aluminium (currently on a CF bike) that really appeals to me.
Nothing but love for mine! When I was setting up the shock sag, discovered I had actually been sold the 175mm travel...Definately not too much bike, even for trail/xc style riding. I too was after the G15, it was Chris who convinced me to go with the G16 (hybrid), although I have not ridden the G15, am very happy with my decision.
Either way am sure you won't be disappointed.
