Saw a few in use at Falls Creek Ignition. Deff spiked my interest again as im sick to death of having a camelbak on my back every ride (specially on my regular short 1hr weeknight rides etc). Tried a little saddle bag for tube/multi and co2 but couldnt fit the car keys and phone in there and hated keeping them in my shorts or jersey so it was back to the freaking camelbaks all the time but i think thats about to change now!

If its on rotorburn it must be cool!

Just tried out the Henty Enduro pack on the weekend and seriously rate it. Fits a 3l insulated camelbak, first aid kit, snacks, keys, whatever. Keeps the weight nice and low and is super comfy. Also doesn't look like a fanny pack.

I have had a Henty enduro backpack for the last couple of years and it's extremely comfortable, way better than my camel back. It's sort of half bum bag half backpack. It stays rock solid and doesn't ride up you back at all. It's also from a Tasmanian company!

Looks nice.
How small can it be made?
Like, I don't need all that shizzle and I don't really need 3l of water how small can it get?

For most of my rides I don't need more than 2l of water, one tube, multi tool, patches and levers, a pump, the occasional space for a shock pump and phone and keys.

I have one of the small camelbaks (I can't remember which one) and an Osprey Raptor 10. I'm sad to recognize that maybe, just maybe a fanny pack would be the perfect solution.

My swat cage on my enduro holds all that... id say time to sell your bike and get a specialised enduro with SWAT instead.

Hmm that sounds like a top reason to buy an overpriced POS with crappy warranty cover.

My S-Works Stumpy was purchased for $4k and then replaced under warranty for a 2016 with the swat box etc. I was able to build it up with XTR, Light Bicycle wheels and everything for a $2000 more at that point.

The SWAT kit is beautiful, brilliant and neatly executed. I know it's fashionable to sheep out and hate on Specialized, but you're a retard if you hate on the SWAT functionality because they're gold standard with it, and I wouldn't be surprised to see other bikes copy it the moment it's off patent...kind of like they did with Horst link.
I'm sure SWAT is great and all but that's not going to make me overlook the total douchebag company Specialized is. If you're happy to give them your money, and have the bike break on you and luck out with warranty roulette, great. I'll spend my money on a bike thats not going to break in the first place and a Henty enduro pack.

Is there anything you don't get salty over?
I'm trying to stay positive at the moment, especially coming into a such a stressful time of year. Unironically, you are a complete downer in almost every post.

Since my Hip pack got stolen, I put the Bike Bag Dude frame bag from the Honzo onto my Nicolai, and been carrying everything in that now. Crimes against fashion have ceased, and everything still available. He's an aussie guy and does some seriously good custom bags, would highly recommend.
Roubaix. It leaves a salty taste in the mouth.

I like the bike bag dudes stuff. One day when the little monkeys are a bit older I would like to do some touring with them and get the monstercross fitted out with his bags.

The sexual tension between you two is incredible! I love my camelbak repak Lr4. Keeps me from carrying too much shit like I do with my mule. I did pull the bladder out though as I find it a pain to use. That Henty looks the ducks nuts though.
