Hellfire is back ! 20th - 23rd of November and we have entries open March 1 www.hellfirecup.com

Despite unseasonal angry gods with the wettest November on record we kept every one racing and look forward to presenting the full Hellfire experience.

Some improvements.
For us it was disappointing that due to adverse circumstances we didn't have all the services we had planned for you guys for the 2013 event, so we've been working out ways to keep all the event intact no matter what mother nature throws at us. We were proud of our team that we kept everyone racing but still will always look to do better.

So here are some of the changes we've made.
1. Engagement of a site manager, set up team, timers and several other staff in a professional capacity to ensure all services are good to go before you rock up, and to ensure that if we have to deal with any adverse conditions it can be done as seamlessly as possible keeping not only the racing going but also the fun vibe and services of the race village.
2. Tucker! Based on your feedback we have decided to engage yummy food vendors on site (their food is yummy too) that you can access for evening meals if you do not wish to bring your own, which means we can put more resources into our new lunch providers with better, bigger and more wholesome lunches for entrants. We will provide a presentation feast lunch on the last day.
3. Purchased an electronic timing system that will allow us to have live preliminary results as riders cross the line, and all results live online within half an hour of the end of each stage.
4. Better shower system - the units we purchased would have been ok if we hadn't had to move but we are now using a far more effective and transferable unit.
5. Better bike wash facilities and more of them.
6. No fires, floods or plagues of locusts.
7. Less single track, just jokes actually more awesome trails
So if you want a race with a great race village atmosphere, onsite entertainment, awesome trails, great people get on board the Hellfire Cup. There will be entertainment every night at the race village and some cool stuff scheduled between stages, childcare bookings available and kids entertainment. Iron House will be back due to popular demand.
As always keep an eye on the Facebook page and on our website www.hellfirecup.com and we will continue to send out regular newsletters keeping you in the Hellfire loop. Expect some cool announcements soon.
Happy trails!

DG and the AvantiPlus Hellfire Crew.

10 second Hellfire update
Ok here’s is a quick info bump for Hellfire for those who aren’t on our email list. (to get on it is pretty easy just add your email to the get updates box on the home page www.hellfirecup.com
Early bird entry prize 1 has been drawn with Jarrod from Cooee winning an Avanti Competitor carbon rig , that’s right you can win stuff before you even get there! Early bird entry prize 2 has been upgraded and consists of two cool things, one a 4shaw corporate watch pack, and now includes a Shimano HD camera. Early bird finishes on July 14. Enter by then and you are in the draw.

Secondly there is trail happenings a plenty! A private investment group are buying the Kellevie race village and have engaged Hellfire sponsors Mountain Trails to add single track at Kellevie race course that’s pretty sweet, and just as cool work on the campsite so the campsite is more resistant to inclement weather.
Plus MTB skills will have some things going on to support new riders stay tuned for details
So if you think taking your steed and hitting up some sweet trails in November with your mates as part of an event that lays down:
• 4 days 7 stages (optional 8th laser Electrical brutal hill challenge. )
• Awesome trails
• One central, laid back race village
• Down time entertainment, flicks, tunes, bike stuff

• Onsite mechanic
• Onsite bike retail

Finally rolled the full gig out.

http://www.marathonmtb.com/2014/11/25/anthony-shippard-dissecting-the-hellfire-cup/

Anthony Shippard came down for Hellfire and covered the event for MTB Marathon and AMB.

We think his article sums up Hellfire pretty well. Its about bikes, mates, trails, music, and new adventures.
We built the kind of race we would like to enter and built the trails we like to ride.

We are very proud of all our team. sponsors and riders for supporting us through a couple of natural disasters before we could roll out the whole thing.

2015 locked in. Ask a mate who rode it to see what they thought of this years Hellfire.

Conformation of dates and full race report link will be posted here on Sunday night

Looking forward 2015 Hellfire.

DG and team Hellfire
