I have recently got myself some goodridge brake lines to suit my avid elixir cr/sl's, i was about to go headlong into installing them and buying the bleed kit, when a friend from an lbs told me that they were very finicky and a bit of an art form, now i have had massive experience with bleeding shimano brakes etc, i know my way around a bike, but this has got me a bit worried, i did a search but could not find what makes this so difficult, btw, the bikes brakes have been flawless for the time i have owned it, which is 12 months!..Any help and hints on the do's and donts would be appreciated!

Read over the manual b4 you start in the bleed kit or download it
De-gas the fluid well ... Take yout time doing this

I ususaly remove the brake pads front and back and install the bleed bocks first (keep pads away from any grease/oil ... Zip lock bag helps)

Get a toe strap or rubber band to hold the lever in while you are bleeding (makes life so much easier)

BEST ADVICE ... IF IT FEELS CRAP DO IT AGAIN but better hahaha
