I had my seat on a hardtail - fine for bike paths and commuting but wasn't enjoyable for my daughter on single track. A lounge chair ride on a dually might give you a bike convert for life.

Haha yeah a mate of mine who is a massive tightarse bought a bike trailer, but he cheaped out and got the one without suspension. His son hates the thing because it's rough AF on the gravel roads he gets dragged along on.

I had a Macride which was pretty good. Was used on a hardtail with a dropper but will work on a dually. Front and center between your arms is much safer than behind you. No weird balance, they are literally between your arms and you can chat and point stuff out.

Had same style seat (not half moon though) and (without sounding graphic) my daughter used to stick her hand down the back of my shorts and burst out laughing, used to get some good reactions from passers by lol

Can someone with a Shotgun Pro please confirm the dimensions of this bolt for the main steerer tube clamp?

To increase stem clearance I want to replace it with a pan head bolt.

Good find thanks. I also asked ze Google and it told me M4 :/ . Maybe it's not what we ask, but how we ask that determines the answer.

I might have to wait until the kit actually arrives so I can measure for myself.

Yeah I didn't want to alert them to the fact I want to run a non standard bolt

Have since confirmed it is an M5 x 0.8 x 22mm bolt.

Also the 2.0 shotgun has now flipped the stem clamp around backwards, so i don't believe stem clearance is as much of an issue as it once was.:
