Bar Tape

Need to replace the bar tape on the roadie. Any recommendations?

I use lizard skin ones they are nice and comfy and I movd my hands a lot and so far seem durable

I like the Lizard Skins tape as well. It has a great feel. I usually wear gloves when I'm riding but forgot them on my last ride. I'm not sure if it was because I didn't wear gloves but I wore through the thin, top layer of the tape in one ride.

A lot of people love Lizard Skins, personally I'm not a fan. I find it too thick and spongy.
I much prefer a thin tape, I've been using Fizik's Superlight Classic for a while now, probably my favourite. Used Cinelli's cork tapes for years, also great, but damage easily, and harder to keep clean.

I find the Fizik is fine to use without gloves for most rides under 2.5 hours. Any more and I'll wear gloves.

I reckon it was, I did the same thing when i didn't wear gloves.

FWIW, this stuff is amazingly easy to wrap, and seems to wear pretty decently.
