Some pretty good value of fox factory stuff:

Crooze have been doing pretty well lately with good value stuff. Kind of filling a void the old pushys used to be in.

My trusty (but old) brand X dropper is showing signs of giving up the ghost. Does the brains trust have any leads on cheap reliable droppers since it looks like brand X doesnt exist anymore. 31.6, internal routing, cable actuated (with lever), 100-125mm drop. Thanks!

I have an X Fusion Manic on my Levo SL and it's pretty simple and light to use. It just runs a disposable cartridge like an office chair that I replaced once when it dumped it's guts. I found it pretty easy to service and replace the cartridge and it's nice to use.
My Stumpy and my Norco Sight that I had before it both have OneUp droppers. The Sight would have had the version 1 and the Stumpy version 2 (version 3 is the current one) The version 1 was pretty reliable and over the 5 years that I had it in that bike I never replaced anything, just disassemble and clean every now and again. It did slowly loose air pressure requiring you to remove the seat and pump it back up every 12 months or so. The version 2 in the Stumpy is going fine and I just gave it a clean out the other day. The OneUp posts seem to be harder to push down and require some stanchion lube to be applied regularly to keep the action smooth. The remote is terrible though, with a weird angle that I can't seem to adjust to get in the right place for my thumb and the action is quite heavy. I will be replacing it with a PNW or WolfTooth lever.

Post a thread in the Wanted To Buy section? Surely there'd be a few burners with low-use short-travel posts kicking around the shed...

I prefer to buy new with droppers, because you never know how they've been treated (I never hang my bike by the seat with a dropper for example, - but most people seem not to worry)

I’ve had a PNW Loam for a couple of years and it’s been great.

I too avoid clamping the seat post in the bike stand. Only hung it by the seat once when stopped for beering.

I might have a 31.6mm 100 or 125mm brand X dropper new in box... I'll check.
