Bargain buys thread

They got it wrong.

$42 seems pretty steep for a 10 speed chain. $49 even more so.

If you want to return it, confirm that you won't have to pay postage with the return label, and there will be tracking included.

If they won't do that, I would open a dispute with eBay. (tracking with Auspost is your Proof that you dispatched the item back to them)

Do you have any images that show 'box of 25' in white lettering in a red circle?
I see they have taken it down from their website. khunts.

the website description still says box of 25, even though the image doesn't

I've got the screenshot above and I saved PDFs of the ebay listing with the same picture and a description stating 25 chains.

Are these good for $50?
I have similar from cycling deal. It does inflate and seat tubeless if you don't have an air compressor. The only time I've had issues is when I've done a crap tape job or when the tyre turns out to not be tubeless ready (CotFW moment).

CotFW.. my compressor is too big and noisy, so i rarely turn it on even for car tyres :) so this might be useful

Always wanted one of these but they never met Aus standards so could only buy from OS.

$199* is pretty good for a 595g trail fullface.

*Only available in bloody stool red and baby shit green... Still $229 ain't bad.

I jumped on this because it was one of the options on my list, and had ruled out the Proframe RS because fit. After a bunch of research I decided to go with the M/L size but was a toss up as I measure right in the middle of their sizes (58cm). I have a roundish head but seem to fit it well. I have moved the BOA cradle to the innermost points but have left the thinner cheekpads and not sure the S/M would have fit my face. This has left me with a few clicks left on the dial, which I'd prefer over it being maxed out. Haven't ridden with it yet and it's my first time in a FF on the bike, so take with a pinch of salt. Overall it feels comfortable to me but will see once I use it in anger.

Also while not an issue for me, I've noticed that the lowest vertical adjust point on mine is blocked by the helmet foam, so watch for that if you order one and think you'll need to use that position. I went with the .... "bloody stool red" 😂 aka burnt orange version, but I like loud colours🤘

I had an IXS helmet once, was a very odd fit.
Super narrow on the sides

Seems @madstace has confirmed this may not be the case anymore. Buy, buy, buy!
Oooof, much pressure (para-socially, not from the helmet).

It's always weird getting other people's takes on helmets, one person's narrow is another's round etc. My direct comparison is with the Proframe RS model, which in the large felt like there was a lot of side pressure on top, yet even with the dial cranked had a heap of fore and aft play. I went for a spin up and down the street and the Trigger felt comfortable, no wobble and seemed like it had good airflow, but I sweat like a mofo so only a proper trail ride will tell how it fairs. Cheek pads still feel a bit firm against my face but it's a foreign feeling for me anyway, otherwise felt nicer than my POC Tectal.
