Beerburrum.... getting fenced in?

Was riding the Beerburrum Down hill today and got talking to motor bike rider, apparently the council at their cost is going to provide a fence for the DH track to keep the trail bikes out and make it a bit safer... (no collisions).Pretty good if they do!

Not sure if its true ? anyone know any more on this.

hey benny,there is talks about a fence being put up to stop motorbikes using our track,there was another head between a dirtbike and dh rider which the guy on the dirtbike recieve a broken leg and dh rider done a fair bit of damage to his shoulder.if you notcie just before you cross over the fireroad there is a new section being cut,iam one of the ones building it,that will be the new line,which is going to fast as and fun,was the motorbike rider on the track,because i think i know who your talking about and i warned him the other day to stay off the track when he came down it.steve
 
Yeah sounds good Steve, the track is a fair bit of fun, was my first ride on my new bike so took it fairly easy(Bike was sweet by the way) Narh the Motorbike rider wasn't on the track although there was a few others on there every so often.

The Motor bike rider we actually spoke with Rides XC mountain bikes so was pretty understanding and supportive of the proposed fence.

Normally fairly busy with kids and work but post up when you are next doing some trail building work and happy to lend a hand if i can.
