Benchmarks...

I was wondering how many of you have timed a single run around Rollercat or up Turkey etc. Would be interesting to know what times are getting run on our local trails and have a benchmark for improvement. Maybe a thread (for those game enough to submit) with names and times could be a good source of public ridicule and motivator...

The quickest i have gone down rollercat is about a 3:20. Will time myself next time down turkey.

Strava (Iphone App) would be good for this type of thing, I've just used it a couple of times yesterday at RC.

Although, looking around on the net, peoples opinions tend to be quite polarised on its use (see MTBdirt Forum topic). I think using it a training tool on approved trails is ok.

With the half lap of rollercat getting a 9:32 with a downhill of 2:51.
