Superantispyware and walwarebytes. Both free and have always got rid of mine. Best to use more than one program to double check.
Thanks guys, will try mtb101's suggestion; Malwarebytes and Microsoft Security Essentials pick up nothing at the moment.download the ISO avg rescue CD. here. using the ISO create the Boot AVG CD (you'll need nero if you have XP or on W7 just right click and use 'Windows Disk Image Burner'. Now use the CD you created to boot your PC and run a full scan, it's the most thorough method to remove any virus/spyware as the CD scans the drive and if you have the network on, update the CD virus definitions first. After that, install Microsoft Security Essentials and run ALL windows updates.
There's nothing nicer than a clean install, especially a Linux one.Just use Linux FFS.
