BIKE RACKS AND CARRIERS FOR CARS MEGATHREAD - all questions asked and answered here

Hello brains trust. I am currently using a rocky mounts monorail rack that I am currently using. Rack is awesome and has pretty much met my needs to date.

The issue I have with this rack is I am out of garage space so having difficulty storing it in there or anywhere else. The new car doesn't fit with the rack sitting there anymore. So I am thinking if the rack could fit in the boot that would be ideal - just take it out when I need. The car I use for mtb trips os probably not going to need all that trunk space and I could make that work - any suggestions?
Criteria:
- Hitch mount.
- Platform rack style, not a fan of overhang style and only really need it for 2 bikes max.
- Prefer wheel attachment but will indulge other options if they are good.
- Needs to clear long mtb handlebars
- Needs at least 60kg rating - for ebikes, but two bikepacking rigs is probably a lot heavier too.

- Yakima holdup evo is an obvious candidate, but I was put off from the wheel hold mechanism that seems to rub the fork. The newer evo seems to have fixed that. ALso I'm not sure that will actually fit in the boot. Also the max bike weight is 23kg so it's under my spec. Could make it work though if required. How wide is this folded?

As above the holdup 2 seems to not list the specs on aussie site. Looks identical bar some features but the use site rekons it can do 27kg per bike, but has offroad ratings of 18kg only, confused, yeap?
- Buzzrack E hornet H2 - pretty big and awkward shape although is rated for 60kg. Also holds on frame and not that foldable.
Buzzrack e-Scorpion. Seemsto fit the bill, includes lights which is a bonus, but the previous buzzrack I had was a bit lightweight so although this s rated, not sure how it performs. Also $$$ ?
- Kuat Transfer v2 - looks good but i can't say just looking at it that I trust it. Also at almost 1200 wide, I'm nto sure this will fit in the boot.
I have the holdup evo, it's pretty much exactly 1metre wide when folded in. (And 52cm deep when folded up.)
Great rack, I've had it ages. You could push the hold mechanism until it rubs the fork, but if you stop just short it doesn't touch and doesn't rub at all. No marks on my forks at all. Anti-wobble mechanism works great. Seems over-engineered - I have the +2 to carry 4 bikes, so 2 ebikes alone I would have thought would be no probs.

If you can't afford either just earn more money. ;)
