Hows the rear chassis rails on your dual can going?Don't worry about it. Alfa's don't work for long enough for it to be a problem

Ask about the magic bus. Who you say?Hows the rear chassis rails on your dual can going?
The owner/inhabitant of the magic bus has been put on notice. Finish the job and move in or it moves out........Ask about the magic bus. Who you say?
Plenty of old Gripsport ones floating around now that everyone is going upright.I am after another crank holder simple metal tray bike rack that holds 2 bikes side by side horizontally.
25 years ago I made one it has been used 1000s of tomes , I did see a commercial version .
Not in this case, but I see flimsy hitches on small vehicles carrying heavy racks with bikes regularly, and it scares the cuss outta me. My upright rack is braced to the tub.....just for peace of mind, seeing it never comes off.Turns out his 600kg hitch was fairly poorly made and snapped / bent.
Yeah I was pretty sure Grip sport copied my design as I saw them appear in the early 2000s !! Ha HaPlenty of old Gripsport ones floating around now that everyone is going upright.

The 24" on the end sits a bit awkwardly, the top of the stem sits right on the next bikes brake lever and the rear wheel dangles in the air. Nothing a occy strap wouldn't fix, and in two weeks time it will be irrelevant anyway.

As I was assembling it I was thinking the rear wheels would be a bit close to the ground. But I was wrong, there's plenty of clearance, and there will be even more on Mrs George's Colorado.
I found that my wife bike will rub on my bike on the handlebars due to differences in geometry. I found that loading them on the opposite side to each other fixes that issue. It might be the case with yours (put the 24" on the LH side of the rack)Meccano level: Adult.

With the 5 bikes I defiantly have an order I load them to stop rubbing. Generally smallest to biggest bike.the top of the stem sits right on the next bikes brake lever
Yeah, longer/larger/slacker to smallest is the go. If you have 5 identical bikes, there could be a need for a bit of padding out. With the 5 bikes I defiantly have an order I load them to stop rubbing. Generally smallest to biggest bike.
Mechano level - Adult is when you start with raw materials, that is more mechano level - I am an accountant, please be gentle.Meccano level: Adult.

I have a small number under each wheel hoop, 1 to 5 from left to right.Yeah, longer/larger/slacker to smallest is the go. If you have 5 identical bikes, there could be a need for a bit of padding out.
That it is. Another thing waiting for attention. Is that a TF rodeo?
