Bike stuff USA and Poland

I have family in USA and work mates in Poland.
Is it worthwhile buying anything there and shipping it back?
e.g. are frames, forks, shocks cheaper?
Shipping from Poland would probably be free in a container

Lots of Eastern Europeans make some sort of living buying up used sporting stuff from W Europe and Scandinavia judging by ebay.
I have bought stuff from Estonia Poland Latvia etc and had no probs and postage is cheap not like the privatised mental American system. Lots of USA sellers wont post to us.
Went touring thru E. Europe its fun , minimal traffic and cheap .
