Heading to Black Hill for the first time on Saturday. What would every recommend as the better bike for there between a DH and an enduro (160mm)?

Take the enduro. Having said that, I'm taking my DH bike but it's old, like me.

Cheers everyone. How safe is the parking area at the bottom? If I bring 2 bikes am I safe enough to leave one sitting on a rack on the car?

Can sneakily park beside shuttles if needed, but if you have a bike lock, it wouldn't hurt.

I did what to the who now?

Pretty sure I saw a dh bike locked to a bike rack a few cars down from my van. Was nice to change it up, definitely had the right idea

The Strive was definitely better. Much easier to pick up speed.

The Sender was good, but there is not really enough rough stuff to justify it there.

Was still worthwhile taking both bikes. Was good to mix things up.

All up it a a great set of tracks there. The only downside is their length, but not much can be done about that.

No, unfortunately not. We’re not allowed to touch any of the district hills at all at this point. Been the same for many years.
We make the most of what we have at Black Hill though. Makes for quick shuttles and easy ride ups.
See you on the weekend. (I’ll be driving again :()
