WELCOME TO THE BRIGHT MOUNTAIN BIKE FESTIVAL!!!
The festival is a three day bike extravaganza celebrating the crazy, the fun, and the challenging nature of mountain bike riding and racing. The festival is full of events for both serious racers AND non-serious riders alike, with MULTIPLE cross country, gravity enduro, slopestyle and downhill races with BIG CASH PRIZES up for grabs, or a social ride to suit every bike rider, and complete entertainment for the whole family, even if you don’t ride a bike!
With over twenty different events and activities over three days to choose from there is something for everyone, not just hardcore racers. Entertainment events include two films each day, kids bmx events, rock climbing/abseiling, ladies only rides, food wine and beer tasting tours, white water kayaking, social road rides, kids toy library and craft corner, a photography competition, massages, jumping castles, face painting, and riding lessons for both kids and adults alike.
Bright is surrounded by big mountains, and has some of the best food, wine, coffee and beer in the world, and its all made right here in our region, as we have some of the best gourmet local produce you will find anywhere, and its all available here at the festival. Bright is an amazing tourist town with an amazing network of mountain bike trails, beautiful scenery, and lots to see and do for the whole family, with many restaurants, cafés, wineries and places to stay, so bring them along and make a weekend of it!
