Nice bike, but you won't have any more luck with the atomic pedals. My mate has busted 2 pairs already, only seen about 5 hours of dirt. Utter crap.

mtb_man: The rohloff is a strange beast, I'm still getting used to it at the moment. The weight isn't that much of a problem, still jumps good etc, but the feeling of resistance in the lower/slower half of the range is something I wasn't expecting. They take about 1000k to wear in so until then I wont hold it against it. Other than that it is awesome, great shifts and you can put the power down anytime without hesitation cause the chain/gears aren't gonna skip.

Shmity: I hope you are right, about the pedals that is. i have seen some mixed reviews but time will tell.

The platform on them is awsome, good shape, good size, the pins are the right length. Just keep an eye on the axel the first few rides and tighten it up if it comes loose. Mine didn't but thats where msot people have encountered problems in the past.
