five and six year old forks ... not really worth it are they?
surely theyve been written off in a stocktake somewhere?

I've got the 2002 Marzocchi FR's and have to say they're still one of the best available in their class.*

*I'm not linked to the seller in any way, just love the forks!

This is just one Example from when i came into you store the other day, but can you tell me why they stab deluxs price in you store was $4499 the the rrp on the bike is 3899. I know that is the price it is currently on sale for but dont you think that its a bit misleading when a customer comes in see the bike and thinks their saving $600 when they are just paying retail.
The same thing with the Norco Atomic they sell for $2999 and your price was $3299. Can you explain why your bikes are priced like this.

Cheers

Brent,

The reason that the 2007 Kona Stab Delux is $3799, down from $4499 is because in 2007 the Stab Delux retailed at $4499 from the supplier and this year in 2008 the supplier retail price has dropped to $3899, which is fantastic for you guys - the savings have passed through on lots of '08 gear.

In regards to the pricing of the Aline, the retail price set from Norco is $3299, however when they were first introduced in early-mid 07, Norco set a special retail price of $2999 for a short period of time.

If you find a lower place somewhere else, we are more than happy to match it for you! I hope all of this made sense, we really aren't trying to make the prices seem cheaper by upping the retail, we just love to see people on bikes they can't stop grinning on!

Cheers,
Alex

yes they are shit, and imo you got shafted dude,i sold a brand new, 07 marz d.o.t with owners books etc,un ridden for $80 in perfect cond through farkin, people will sell what ever they want, for how much they want.who are you to winge about the price of retail prices on a public forum, imo its just like the tv,if you dont like it,dont watch it,same as a lbs,if you dont like there stock,or there price of stock, then dont shop there, they have already said they will match any lower price you find,so really it dosnt matter does it???

Mountain Biking is an everlasting quest to find new and exciting ways of mounting bikes to cars... It doesn't actually have anything to do with riding.

Due to recent and reoccurring indiscretions, Cory Wagstaff has been renamed Rory Wagstaff, in an attempt to hide said indiscretions.....
