Can America be fixed?

read somewhere this company had a claim rejection rate over 30%. Its really hard to have sympathy for someone at the core of a business like that

Messages that law enforcement officials say were found on bullet casings at the scene of the shooting in front of a Midtown hotel — “delay” and “deny” — are two words familiar to many Americans who have interacted with insurance companies for almost anything other than routine doctor visits.

Faaark

Regardless, dude still had two kids. I'm sure they're enjoying the outpouring of schadenfreude currently, especially given the guy was apparently one of the better ones trying to change how the company dealt with claims and treat its members.

The corporation didn't even postpone the meeting the CEO was to be attending, apparently.

It's a bummer that he was shot dead. But it's the end result, and maybe the first of a number of such vengeance killings of Corporate heads of insurance companies, of treating people as cash cows and then giving them the middle finger when reasonable claims are denied, and having a user-pays system where life saving drugs and treatments that we might take for granted in Australia, can cost so much money in the USA, that even fully insured people simply cannot afford to be alive.

Now into the comedy phase?

"Raw milk CEO whose products have been recalled may lead US raw milk policy"
He's employing the mob, lol!

"If McAfee, whose farm is the largest producer of raw milk in the US, were to gain a role in the upcoming administration, it would be in line with the upcoming administration’s broader edict to put industry heads in roles regulating the very products they sell."

That keeps all those Amish dickheads happy too. They didn’t like being told to abide by the same regulations as everyone else after people got sick…
